Want to burn 800 calories per hour and learn how to defend yourself and your family at the same time?
Not only will you burn up to 800 calories an hour, but you will learn some of the same life saving self-defense techniques that you would get in a traditional program. Wear your favorite workout clothes while you learn. There are no belts and uniforms, and very limited physical contact with the other participants or the instructor. You don’t need any experience, and everyone works at their own pace. Beginners are welcome! This will be the most fun you have ever had in a work out class!
We are different from those other cardio kickboxing programs in that you will learn actual combinations you could use on an attacker. Training not only includes punching and kicking combinations, but also resistance training by slipping on those boxing gloves and punching the heavy bags, resistance bands, crunches, push ups and a wide variety of other floor exercises to round out your fitness program. The "bag section" of the class is a favorite of many, and is also a great stress reliever. Every class will include a section of heavy bag usage. And of course our students have lots of fun in class and especially enjoy the personalized instruction from our Black Belt instructors, and the camaraderie of their classmates.
Classes are one hour in length and may take a variety of formats to keep it fresh and exciting. The routine has to change from time to time to trick the muscles into working harder.
